Foreground - Background

In the beginning of 2003 I went to visit my friend Tom Ritchford in New York. During this trip I saw a very impressive installation by Yayoi Kusama, called 'Fireflies on the Water', at the Robert Miller Gallery. Tom took some pictures of me in the installation, and I decided to use one to fill out and prettify my bio. A couple of months later I was analyzing my web stats, and noticed that I suddenly had about 150 hits a month on my bio, as opposed to the steady 1 hit per month before. After some investigation I discovered that the hits weren't really on my bio, but on the image. (For a while my pic was the first hit querying google images for 'fireflies').

I found out that someone was linking to it from some Harry Potter forum as an example of 'shimmering lights'. (Apparently one needs to understand shimmering lights in order to work with light charms). But I was really surprised to find myself as a background on someones homepage! Like Artm said: "LOL!!! Did she like thinked she looks like you so why bother taking and photoshopping a pic herself?". Besides, directly linking to images on other webservers is considered to be bandwidth stealing.
So I thought, instead of people linking to my image as a background, I can use their homepages as foregrounds for my images...
